- Princess Anidori-Kildara Talianna Isilee was born with everything a girl could wish for. She was a princess, destined to inherit the throne. She possessed a unique talent for communicating with birds and her horse Falada. She even had a faithful friend in her lady-in-waiting, Selia. But circumstances change, and Ani must journey from her homeland of Kildenree to neighboring Bayern, where she has been promised in marriage to the king's son. Ani makes the best of it, finding comfort in Selia and her beloved Falada. As Ani and her party approach Bayern, she is taken by surprise, finding herself alone in a strange land where no one knows she is really a princess.
