Article in Book Groups and Category:Young Adult Fiction.
The "Sharks" of Greene County Library read these books, which except for the first one (chosen in advance for the first meeting), were picked by the guys from a slate of five choices. Click on the title to go to a page where the Sharks themselves may tell how they felt about the books.
Note: the Sharks club is composed of guys aged 10 - 14, but half of the books they read fall into the young adult category, so that's why this page is in the young adult fiction section. "The Phantom Tollbooth" is actually usually in juvenile fiction and "The Great Train Robbery" is adult fiction.
- The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
- The Education of Robert Nifkin by Daniel Pinkwater
- The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton
- The Extraordinary Adventure of Alfred Kropp by Rick Yancey
