Starred sites for adult fiction readers' advisory
- Inclues pictures of covers, series lists, and pre-pub/forthcoming information as well.
- Brought to you by Bowker -- available only inside the library .Locate books by author, title, or attributes in six different areas for fiction: genre, setting, location, character, timeframe, and topic. Choose the "find similar" button and then narrow down by attribute.
- Note: OCLC has a prototype of a very similar database at FictionFinder.oclc.org -- it is limited and less user-friendly at this point, but keep an eye on it, since it’s still in the making.

- Library of Virginia Notable Books - The Notable Books list annotated with Lexile scores, sortable by all fields.
- Click on "Find a Book" in the middle of the front page. Run by the Charlotte/Mecklenburg Public Library; annotated by librarians.
