African-American infants are more than 3 times as likely to die before their first birthday than white infants in Charlottesville. This film examines the enigma of the Black-white infant mortality gap. The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library will join with the Charlottesville City Schools Adult Learning Center to show this documentary. Breyette Lorntz, Asst Prof of Medicine, UVA Medical Center, will lead a discussion following the film.
